Mikaela Natallie Phillips (Born January 14th, 1996)  known as Mikaela Phillips is an Australian actress, producer and host. Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, she is the daughter of well-known writer and director Chrys Phillips. Phillips grew up in Melbourne, as an only child and during her childhood enjoyed, performing, skating, baking and the arts.

Background

When Mikaela first arrived in the U.S, she was known for her work as an actress and young teen host. In the first year she arrived Phillips uploaded videos on her YouTube account and blog of LA experiences, places and event to see and go and celebrity and fashion label interviews.

After that, she gained the interest of the world's largest online network, Afterbuzz TV where she went on to become a host for the network and in so, set the record of being the youngest host ever to be accepted into the network, at just 18 years old. Mikaela went on to contribute and co-host a weekly panel after show around the CW's Supernatural and interviewed many of the show's leading stars. She also successfully procured and produced multiple one-on-one in studio interviews with some of the world's biggest names in film, tv and music including Jessica Lowndes (90210), Jonathan Lipnicki (Stuart Little), Nick Bateman and Sandra Vergara to name a few, as well as multiple red carpet events and premieres.

Returning back home to Australia in late 2015 Mikaela continued hosting for the network and was even appointed in the new role of Head of Afterbuzz TV Australia. Afterbuzz TV Australia featured many exclusive celebrity interviews including Florida Georgia Line, Phoebe Tonkin, Rob Thomas, Keegan Allen and numerous events like the prestigious Alfa Romeo Portsea Polo and the LOGIES Awards (Australian Emmys).

Phillips has been working on her hit TV show Counter Play. Phillips plays the lead character of Faith Morgan throughout two seasons of the series and is also an Executive Producer of the series alongside her mum. The series airs in Australia on a network called Channel Nine and on Amazon Prime in 2018.
